“Let's Live Like Angels”
Modess

“Let’s Live Like Angels,” the new song by Raphaël Modess is a true ode to love, a Biguine with Afrobeat influences, a clever blend of Jamaican toasting, Caribbean and African rhythms. A pure moment of musical sensuality.
Raphaël Modess is an Afro-Caribbean artist, author, composer, and screenwriter who draws his inspiration from everyday life. Immersed in music from a young age, he wrote his first lyrics at the age of 11. He addresses societal themes such as love, family, and human relationships, in Creole, English, or French. Initially influenced by Antillean music, he naturally gravitates towards urban music (Reggae, Ragga, Dancehall, Hip-Hop…).

Through various encounters, starting in 1996, Raphaël Modess traverses sound systems in Martinique, then in France within various collectives that lead him to perform in several cities in the hexagon and even in Tunisia. He also experiments with acoustic formats.
In 2001, he released a track on DJ Hallan's compilation, titled Faya Yo.
