INTO YOU
Which is the first single from his upcoming EP, ZENɅS. Into You details the complexities of engaging in early romance and how difficult it can be to convince someone you’re actually into them, without overstepping boundaries. The song is the perfect blend of R&B and Afro/Caribbean styles, providing an undeniable rhythm that is sure to set the tone for many dance floors (from home) this summer but packed with plenty of substance that many can relate to.
Zenas is much more than just a DJ, he is a jack of all trades. He also produces, writes, and performs all of his own music, and Into You follows suit. The purpose of the song, as well as his upcoming EP, ZENɅS, is to highlight these talents and shift the conversation towards who he is as an artist as opposed to as a DJ. ZENɅS will consist of six tracks, all of which will be accompanied with an animated music video, collectively composing a full animated series that will be available for purchase later this year.
Zenas is originally from Denver, CO. He recently moved to Dallas, TX in 2019 to further pursue his music career after linking up with Jon-John Robinson, a well-established R&B producer (with credits including TLC, Jon B, and more), and collaborating with him on multiple projects. Since moving to Texas, Zenas has also produced several tracks for The Black Sands Soundtrack (a comic series turned animated series) and has continued releasing music of his own. This includes his latest single Rona, on which he partnered with MusiCares to donate all proceeds to COVID-19 relief, and has garnered thousands of streams to date.
