The release marks Arii's return with her first new single in several years and serves as the lead release from her forthcoming EP, Girl Interrupted, scheduled for 2027.
With Girl Interrupted, Arii invites listeners into her most personal body of work to date. The upcoming EP promises a deeper exploration of love, self-discovery, resilience and growth, while expanding her sound across R&B, Soul, Alternative and Pop, alongside her Caribbean and Latin influences.

Also known as #LaMala, Arii Lopez is a Cuban-Jamaican recording artist whose identity is shaped by the vibrant cultures of both Cuba and Jamaica. Her music moves across R&B, Soul, Pop, Alternative, Latin, Dancehall and Hip-Hop, creating a sound rooted in her Caribbean heritage while remaining globally minded.
Since releasing “Culture” in 2020 and “Run Up” in 2022, Arii has continued to develop her artistry and musical identity, drawing inspiration from legendary performers including Madonna, Celia Cruz, La Lupe, Lady Saw, El General and Spice.
