MOZIYAH
The human race has reached a ‘Crossroad’… the good, the bad and the ugly
Moziyah has stepped into the reggae arena with a wise mind and a compassionate heart. The Kingston born reggae artist proclaims that the human race has reached a “Crossroad,” in his brand new roots single that will surly grab the attention of classic roots rock reggae fans.
CROSSROAD
“Crossroad” is a conscious roots offering that sports nyabinghi drums, a heavy hitting bassline, and effected electric guitar which all come together to give off a very serious vibration that is suitable for the lyrics sang by Moziyah as he observes and criticizes the negative aspects of society, declaring that some decisions must be made very soon as the planet’s situation escalates. The instrumental is 100% live music, composed by Trevor Sugar in Pompono Beach, Florida.

“Its a song that represents a time and a place which is now. Its a subliminal representation of choices. We have to grow and make choices in life, so Crossroads represents the good, the bad, and ugly. With everything going on in the world today, Crossroad is the perfect song for the time.”

MOZIYAH
Moziyah has been navigating the music industry his whole life, as he was born into a musical family where he would compete with his brothers and sisters as entertainers. One of Moziyah’s previous singles, “No Lie,” has gained thousands of views online. His unique vocal tonality is reminiscent of acts like Burning Spear or Daweh Congo.
‘Crossroad’ will certainly be the track that launches Moziyah further in his music career. The artist is concerned that the industry lacks timeless icons, and that there is a need for conscious artists to come forward in this time to sing uplifting words. “There will always be music that simply entertains. The music transforms with the culture, but we need music that mirrors reality. The same thing music does for me… I want my music to do that for other people.”

It is apparent that Moziyah is not motivated by worldly things, and that he truly has good intentions behind his music. Its not about money or hype for him at all, alas, he is dedicated to bringing people peace in a hectic time with organic roots reggae.
Its rare to find an artist like this in these times!
The “Crossroad” single is available for purchase and streaming on all major platforms!
