Known artistically as Jessygirl, she is developing a style that moves between Haitian musical identity and the sounds of today's pop landscape. Her approach is rooted in the idea that Haitian Creole can be heard naturally in contemporary music while still preserving the cultural connection behind the language.
Jessygirl's connection to music began at a young age. After stepping away to focus on personal growth and education, she returned to her artistic path and officially relaunched her independent music career in 2025. Since then, she has been steadily building her catalog and audience through digital music platforms and social media.
Her music reflects more than a genre. It reflects a perspective. Haitian heritage remains central to her identity as an artist, while English and international influences allow her to communicate with listeners outside the Caribbean and Haitian diaspora.
“I want my music to show that Haitian language and culture can have a place within today's global pop landscape,” Jessygirl says.
