Leman Sharque
Leman Sharque is a Salento rapper who grew up between Lecce and Geneva. Today, he is boosting his profile with a series of singles that mark a new stage in his journey.
Leman Sharque (the shark of Lake Geneva), the stage name of Pasquale Alemanno, is a Salento rapper who grew up between Lecce and Geneva, the child of immigrant parents. Always connected to hip-hop culture, he experiments with different styles and flows, blending rap and dancehall influences. Confronted with the harsh realities of Salento, he has built his musical identity over the years and refined his sound, using music as a means of expression. After decades in the underground scene, he collaborates with well-known artists on both national and international levels. A pioneer of French rap in Italy, he has contributed to the explosion of rap as a musical genre in the country. With "Apokalypse Tape," the first French rap album entirely produced in Italy, he also anticipates trends like dirty south, which would later evolve into trap. With his second album, "Mytho-Logie," he evolves line by line, gradually transitioning from French to Salentino dialect, while maintaining the signature style that has always defined him. At the same time, he takes on sports, completing several ultramarathons, and conveys a message of resilience and positivity, proudly representing his cultural roots without limiting himself to street clichés. Today, he returns fired up, ready to push beyond limits, in real mode, an explosive Leman, hotter than ever, relentless and independent, with his new project "fattu@ca$a."
